About Kohatu Riverside Studio

Relaxing Country Riverside Studio in rural Nelson. The property has great hillside/country/farm views and is a slice of genuine New Zealand country lifestyle. Detached & away from the main house. Just off State Highway 6. Great base for activities such as Nelson Lakes National Park ,Rainbow Skifield, Abel Tasman National Park, Kahurangi National Park, Great Taste Cycle Trail on our road. Golf club up the road. Cell coverage but NO WIFI. Outside smoking only.We have 2 dogs. We live on a rural block that is situated right next to the Motueka river. There is a Fish & Game access point 1 minute up the road or access to the River from our own private access. We are a great base for a number of activities which are listed above. Our Studio is clean, comfortable and cosy and has everything you need. The heatpump/aircon is great for Winter and Summer. Tea and Coffee is also provided. Milk is provided for the first night only. Breakfast not included but the Kohatu Flat Rock Cafe is just a few minutes drive down the road. Great food. They open at 10am. Not open everyday. Also a BBQ for your own use. We have 2 dogs. Gates must be kept shut at all times. We dont have WIFI but cell coverage for SPARK and Vodafone is good. You wont want to be on your cell when at our Studio or if you are out exploring all the area has to offer. Bring Insect repellant with you as the sandflies are around in the warmer months.
