About Fruit Forest

.Fruit Forest is a unique property that has been certified organic biodynamic) since 1986. Part of this property has been subdivided and sold but we have retained many fruit trees and a beautiful regenerating native bush valley. Currently we are certified to the Organic Farm NZ standards. We grow avocados, apples, citrus, feijoas and a plentiful vegetable garden.
The self-contained (40 square metre) studio is set in a beautiful position with an expansive rural and ocean view. It has a small modern kitchen, washing machine and shower/toilet. A flat screen television with DVD player and selection of DVDs are there for your enjoyment. Books and magazines await you, with an outdoor table and deckchairs This is ideally a peaceful getaway for 2 adults. The studio has a comfortable king sized bed, comfortable indoor chairs and a dining table We provide fresh fruits and avocados from our orchard, depending on the season. Muesli, milk and yoghurt , coffee and a selection of teas are available—or pick some herbs from the gardens and infuse your own.
Seasonally we are happy to share from our gardens and most mornings will bring up to you fresh bread.
The studio is quite separate from our accommodation and very private. We are happy to supply you with local information and make bookings for activities prior to your arrival.
Visitors to Fruit Forest unanimously enjoy the experience and are often just happy to relax on the deck and enjoy the peace.
