Kirmington Dene is located on a working Dairy and Dairy support farm that enjoys spectacular views overlooking the Waiau River. Guests can watch the waves crash and break from the Tasman Sea onto the rugged beaches of Te Wae Wae Bay. Each day brings a different scenery photo opportunity and an equally beautiful sunset surprise to complete the day. Guests can enjoy watching the native birds sore the wind up-drafts from their bedroom the 180 degrees views of the Hump Ridge, The Princess Ranges, The Longwoods Bush Mountains, The Takitimu Mountains and the lights of Tuatapere – all without leaving the comfort of their rooms.
The guests at our bed and breakfast accommodation are welcome to enjoy a farm tour on our ruggedly unique property. Get to see first-hand a working dairy farm that has 1700 milking cows, 400 replacements, a 54 bay rotary milking shed and a 44 a side herringbone milking shed all located on our 750ha South / West coastal farm where there is nothing between you and Antarctica but miles of wild Southern ocean.
