Relax and unwind on our secluded property with lovely views of the surrounding countryside and out to the Pacific Ocean. Play petanque in the sheltered European style farm courtyard, meditate in our own stone circle, see the goats being milked and cheese made, collect fresh eggs from the chickens and help hand feed many of the animals, and gaze at the stars in our very clear night skies. Enjoy a wine trail in the Waipara wine region only 15 min away, or the Amberley Farmers market on saturday morning.

Guest accommodation is in a lovely private room in our home. It has separate bathroom and beautiful views. Rates include home cooked breakfast. Evening meal available on request. We ask guests to use only organic toiletries as all greywater passes through our worm farm system. We can provide basic organic toiletries and options for using fresh herbs from our therapeutic herb garden.

Our modern well insulated farmhouse has a passive solar design with solar electricity and hot water and a wood oven for heating, cooking and hot water. Meals are freshly prepared on the large wood fired cooker in our open plan country kitchen with great home grown food and seasonal produce from the garden

Our friendly animals include milking sheep & goats and their delightful and precocious kids, chickens ducks quail, and a pet sheepdog. There are usually lambs to bottle feed from late August until December.
