About Us
Your hosts Terry and Laureen Walker will welcome you and are proud to share their environment with you. After holidaying here for many years it became harder and harder to pack up and leave so eventually we just didn't.
Only a few minutes' drive to Whangamata Township and beach or meander along the picturesque Moana Anu Anu estuary via the marina to the beach or town. We are away from it all but close to everything.
There is always the draw of the beautiful Pacific Ocean or if you just want to get away from it all sit back and relax on the generous decking, wander along the garden paths and bush walks on the property.
As one of our guests said "a place as lovely as this deserves to be shared."

A choice of two self-contained rooms complete with ensuite bathrooms and set amongst native bush with panoramic harbour, marina and ocean views enjoy the peace and tranquility of our natural bush land.
Including a continental breakfast of juice, seasonal fruits, homemade yoghurt, cereal and bread to toast, a breakfast basket will be delivered to your room for you to enjoy at your leisure.

Activities
Whangamata, located on the East Coast of the Coromandel Peninsula provides for all tastes.
Its beautiful beach that has both safe swimming and the famous left hand bar break for surfing. It has a safe harbour for canoeing and boating. Charter fishing trips are available. The township offers great restaurants, cafes and shopping. There is a 9 and 18 hole golf course, a wide range of bush walks and mountain bike tracks.
The peninsula is a haven for many artists with galleries to visit and is a great base for meandering further afield to explore the delights the Coromandel has to offer like Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach.
There is a wealth of things to do and country-side to explore, we can recommend activities and operators that suit your taste for excitement, or those that specialise in more relaxing and luxurious escapes.

Location
Whangamata Vistas is a short drive from Whangamata town centre and is located at the end of Brenton Place off Tairua road. It is accessible from both North and South entrances to Whangamata. Please see map below for directions.
