About The Matarangi B & B

The Matarangi has been purposely built as a harbour front B & B specially designed to make the most of the majestic harbour views. Both king suites feature large rooms with luxurious king beds and huge elegant ensuites including rain head showers for you to enjoy.
A fridge, kettle, coffee /teas facilities are there you you to use.
Both suites have ranch slides to make the most of the harbour views which lead onto a sunny deck where you can relax at the end of the day watching the sunset.
Guests also have a atrium lounge, specially created to bring in the outdoors. Your breakfast is served here, its a great place to watch the harbour birds and listen to the Tuis. Both continental and cooked breakfast are on offer, ingredients are sourced locally and from our garden.
At the front of the property is a walkway leading round the spit and back up the beach, prefect way to see all Matarangi has to offer.
We are a short walk to the Dunes Golf club with some of the best scenery in New Zealand. And we highly recommend the restaurant and bar with spectacular views up the course.
We are in a prime location to visit all the beaches and experiences the Coromandel has to offer, our local knowledge will insure nothing is missed. We recommended a 3 night stay.
