Directions: Kuaotunu is 17km north of Whitianga - along SH25. In Kuaotunu turn on to Bluff Road, across a bridge, past the camping ground, first left into Gray Ave, end of Gray Ave up the hill on the tar sealed driveway. It's a long drive - 800 meters

About Kaeppeli's Kuaotunu

Kaeppeli's Kuaotunu self contained accommodation, has commanding views over bush, beach and bay. Nestled on the hill above Kuaotunu Beach and beside Matarangi reserve. Abundant bird life and friendly farm animals add to this peaceful setting far removed from city life. A perfect place to relax, unwind, enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds you. Rooms are bright, sunny and comfortable, all with their own bathrooms, private entrances and decks. The self-contained Rawhiti cottage, set in the garden is perfect for a romantic getaway or a family. The Kaiwanga room can be booked together with the Oratia room to comfortably accommodate a family of five. Basic kitchen facilities and BBQ's for those that prefer to self cater. Choice of cafe's & restaurants, including Luke's Kitchen & Kua Kafe are nearby for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A 3 hour bush walk starts from our door, with wonderful outlooks, unique wetland with rare birds and a large grove of young Kauri. An ideal base for exploring the Coromandel. Children welcome. Pet friendly accommodation.
