About Sou'West Cottages
Sou'West Cottages are ideally located on the Southern Scenic Route just 5 minutes south of Te Anau. Our Cottages are clean, warm, modern, well equipped and have amazing views over our farmland and surrounding mountains. Fresh farm eggs, and a hill to climb for amazing views of our region. There is a brand new cycle/running trail right outside our gate which links Te Anau with Manapouri, meandering along the banks of the magnificent Waiau River and through beech forest.
Gareth has been working as a commercial Cray fisherman for over 20 years on the rugged Fiordland Coast. Sacha has been in tourism for over 20 years, also working a variety of jobs in the great Fiordland outdoors. We have 2 young children.
We have plenty of animals that are friendly. Cats, dogs, horses, sheep, goat, alpacas, & chickens. We can provide a farm tour on request.
We have a beautiful property we would love to share with you.
The Kepler walking track is a short 6km drive from our location, and the Waiau river is 2km drive away or a 10 min walk from the Cottages.
We allow pets on request only and conditions apply.
We have a large yard which allows guests to park their boat or trailer during their stay with us.
