About Sou'West Cottages

Sou'West Cottages are ideally located on the Southern Scenic Route just 5 minutes south of Te Anau. Our Cottages are warm, modern and have amazing views over our farmland and surrounding mountains. Fresh farm eggs, and a hill to climb for amazing views of our region. There is a brand new cycle/running trail right outside our gate which links Te Anau with Manapouri, meandering along the banks of the magnificent Waiau River and through beech forest.
Gareth has been working as a commercial Cray fisherman for over 20 years on the rugged Fiordland Coast. Sacha has been in tourism for over 20 years, working a variety of jobs. Guiding on the Milford Track, working on the cruise boats in Milford Sound, Guiding on local walking tracks, & driving small buses into Milford Sound. Also currently working at one of two local Crayfish factories, where the live Crayfish are processed to be exported to China.
Connor our son is 11 years and our daughter Kelsey-Rose is 8 years. They are both outgoing an friendly and enjoy sharing our home with our guests.
We have plenty of animals that are friendly. Cats, dogs, horses, sheep, goats, alpacas, & chickens. The kids are more than happy to give you a farm tour.
We have a beautiful property we would love to share with you.
