About The Old Post Office Guest House

The old post office is like the tardis. Larger than it looks. Each room is different, from the old postmasters suite to the small sorting room. They have all seen different uses as the needs of the post office changed over the years.( Each room has its own bathroom, although not necessarily ensuite). The guest can see the original door to the banking storage room or pick up the kauri bowls used in the post office counter and read the bored workers graffiti. The surname Sills seems to feature quite often, a local name, and one from the 1950s who obviously was really over it.
Sit on the large deck at the rear and watch the tui and keruru. Enjoy a pot of real tea and a homemade brownie. Or walk down the path and talk to the chickens
