About Wairua Lodge - Rainforest River Retreat

Wairua Lodge began its life as a family home, was once an artist retreat and has now evolved into a stunning B&B. The lodge overlooks the rainforest and is more than your average B&B - here you can enjoy a soak in the Treetop Bathhouse or marvel at the stars in the outdoor Night-sky Spa Pool. Go for a walk on our well maintained trails or take a dip in one of the two swimming holes then relax in our hammocks or sun yourself on the beach. We offer a guest kitchen with bbq, microwave, grill and hotplate so you can make lunch or dinner - some people never even leave the property! The name Wairua Ora means "place of spiritual well-being" which seems to fit the place perfectly!
