Directions: From Christchurch head for Akaroa at Takamatua turn up the Takamatua Valley road take the 2nd left Old Le Bons Track. Go 100 meters and you will come to 4 mail boxes and an open gate. Coombe Farm we are straight ahead. Parking at front of house

About Coombe Farm

We are a working farm offering bed and breakfast. Two rooms in the house,upstairs.
The king room (king bed) with ensuite and the Queen (Queen bed) with private separate bathroom. Both room offer views down the valley, cotton sheets, feather duvets and pillows Eco friendly products and tea and coffee facilities. FREE WIFI
Guest lounge with plenty of magazines, books and DVDs to watch. Delightful continental breakfast is served in the farmhouse kitchen.
We also have a shepherds hut (kiwi style) with its own private drive situated at the back of the farmhouse. The bath and shower are outside on a private deck, hot running water. Queen bed, BBQ, microwave, fridge all linen supplied and also a breakfast hamper.
We have many walking tracks around us and are only minutes by car from historic Akaroa withers may harbour cruises to see hector dolphins, penguins and some times the odd whale. Akaroa is very quaint with many old house and beautiful gardens there is also the world famous Giants House. The many bays in the area with their beautiful beaches are worth exploring.
