Description: Riding with the River:
The ultimate trek through a huge variety of landscapes; everything from pasture to manuka, farmland to swamp. Then it’s down the Upukerora river with multiple river crossings beside banks of native forest.
Enjoy a break as we stop among the river willows for some home-baked goodies. Suitable for all levels of ability; moderate level of fitness required.
Times: 9am and 4pm, allow 3.5 hours including transfers.

Up Hill and Down Dale:
Experience first-hand the stillness and tranquillity of Fiordland from horseback. Enjoy fantastic mountain views as you cruise over the varied terrain of this working farm and down onto the banks of the scenic Upukerora River. Suitable for all levels of ability.
Times: 1pm, allow 2 hours including transfers.

Description: We have in Southland, and at our own back door in Invercargill, (City of light and water) the most wonderful places to ride. eg: Along the Oreti River, over open plains, through the bush and forest, along the beach - wide and open with not a soul in sight (Stewart Island for a back drop), over the sand dunes. Believe me - Its magical - "Soothes the Soul".

Many overseas travellers have come along - their general comment - its blows them away - so much "space" and freedom!!!!!!

This ride takes around 2+ hours. Great trekking, well mannered and lovely natured horses.
