Description: Come and share our back country treks. An idyllic world of horses and sheepdogs, wonderful scenery, plentiful wildlife.
Our Branch River Ride takes an hour and a half and is on fairly flat terrain, following a meandering river.
The Forest Track ride takes two and a half hours and climbs steeply in places before returning to the river to walk and swim the horses home.
Our half day ride, Homebrook, takes four hours and enables stunning views of the Kapiti Coast and way up the Wairau River. Parachutes optional!
We offer user friendly, well trained horses. Children who are too small for our high country rides can be led round on a pony. Business groups a specialty.

Description: Welcome to one of New Zealand`s most extraordinary and beautiful excursions in the legendary Marlborough Sounds. You ride through awe inspiring scenery and gorgeous sights that take your breath away so keep the camera handy.
Experience a fantastic Horse Trek through magnificent native surroundings. Enjoy the views of Picton, The Queen Charlotte and Kenepuru Sound from the back of a horse.
We can provide anything from 1 hour to full day rides according to your liking or you can ride part of the Queen Charlotte Trek between Eatwells` Lookout and Black Rock Shelter.
For example the Eatwells` Lookout package will give you more than four hours along stunning views including lunch break (BYO).
For the experienced rider we will be able to do trotting and cantering as well. A reasonable level of fitness is recommended for our longer rides.
Our instructor is a national NZ champion equestrian and endurance.
While you are here check our our "petting zoo", including sheep, chickens wekas, pukekos, highland cattle and calves, wild turkeys and more....

Prices: $65.00 per person per hour.

Our headquarters are located at Kenepuru Heads but most treks start from our paddocks at the Kenepuru Head. To drive there simply follow the scenic drive along the Kenepuru Road. We are about 10 minutes from the Portage Resort Hotel. Please ensure you arrive about 20 minutes early.
