We have access to many hundreds of acres all boasting amazing scenic views. We take pride in our journey options available, all of which cater for horse riding groups small and large, riders experienced and inexperienced. Experienced riders can usually enjoy a canter or gallop. A once in a life time, unforgettable horse trek experience.
Each ride is briefed with safety and "how to" procedures and new riders are given a free 5 minute riding lesson to ensure riders know how to whoa and go. Safe and professional treks are our specialty. Comfortable modern helmets are provided but you will need to furnish long trousers and closed footwear. We provide you with belt bags so you can quick draw that camera. We also take your group photo on request with your camera so everyone important is in your picture

Horses For Fun Description: We are a trekking business and riding school where we teach people basic riding skils. We teach them confidence if that`s lacking. We prepare them for longer treks or just if they wish just for one hour.
We also run horse camps at various locations in the Bay of Plenty. And we do beach riding if our clients wish to go there.
We are a small trekking /riding school with 7 horses, so we can take 5 maximum, with 2 leaders. We have access to 120 acres of pineforest first for our 1 hour treks with a river crossing. Then we also have access to 300 acres of dairy farmland with rolling hills climbing ever higher to amazing views over the Bay of Plenty.
Some experience would be helpful but if there is one person that can`t we can do a quick lesson and possible lead rein her/him.

$50- for 1 hour in forest with river crossing.
$65- for 1.5 hours, going through the forest to the first hill on the farm with amazing views over the bay and Matakana island, the mount and beyond.
$80- for 2 hours, going through the forest to the second hill on the farm with higher views.
$140- for 3.5 hours, going through forest to the outback of the farm, corner of springs road with an oppertunity to stop and have a hot swim in Sapphire springs and ride back. Oropi Bushlands Horse Treks Description: Scenic rides through native bush, forestry and dairy pasture. Experience the beauty of our 1650 acres of paradise only 17 minutes from busy Tauranga. Enjoy over 150 acres of native bush and the opportunity to startle the untouched wildlife.
Catering to smaller groups of one-three riders and all riding abilities. Come meet our horses who have been hand picked over the past few years for their ability to adapt to riders of all different styles and abilities.
Children over eight are more than welcome on treks, younger children can be supervised in smaller enclosure unless experienced riders.

Tui Glen Farm Horse Treks Description: Come and explore 3,500 acres of New Zealand`s beautiful scenery. Rides available for all levels of riding from beginner to experienced from quiet to adventurous.
Treks for Beginners: We have a few options for beginners
- Minitrek (30 minutes) suitable for families with young children, birthday groups etc. Varies depending on age ability may take you through the farm, native bush and our crystal clear stream. We take this at an easy steady walk. Younger children are lead from horse back by our guides. $35 adult, Kids (13 and under) $25.
- 1 Hour ride takes you through native bush, farmland and the stream. Taken at a walking pace. Perfect for slightly older kids and family groups $55 Adult, $45 Kids.
- 1 1/2 Hour ride - Takes you through Native bush, farmland, and stream with fantastic views of the Eastern Bay of Plenty. This is for the more adventurous beginner rider, and will be taken at a faster pace than walk. $75 Adults, $55 Kids.
- Weight limit for these treks is 120kg
Experienced Riders: For those that have had some or a lot of riding experience these treks are for you. They will all include trots and canters and we require you to be able to control your own horse: - 2 Hour ride takes you through Native bush, farmland and stream. It enables us to explore more of the 3,500 acres. This trek suits confident riders. $95 Adults, $65 Kids.
- 4 Hour ride takes you through Native Bush, farmland, and stream. Here we get to explore the 3,500 acres, stopping half way to have delicious picnic lunch with a view. $150 Adult, $100 Kids.
- Weight Limit for the experienced rides is 100Kg
Pony Rides: - For the little ones 1 to 10 years of age this option is great. You lead your child on a course around our arenas.
- Prices start from: $20 for 1/2 hour, $30 for 1 hour
