About The Far Pavilion chalet

The over arching features of The Far Pavilion are its privacy and elevated views it has of the Waingawa river valley, and beyond to the Tararua Forest Park with its mountain range. It is built within its own native bush block, yet provides relaxing viewing of grazing sheep and cattle in close proximity. It is unique in design being surrounded by a roofed deck with a modern ablution area accessible by an undercover staircase. The cottage provides for its guests all the necessary utensils for a self-catering sojourn including electric fry pan, pressure/ slow cooker, full-sized stove, and fridge. Nothing will be missed in this department. For many years now, guests have enjoyed a tranquil and hassle-free time here enjoying the provided reading material, games and music offerings along with a fine mix of DVD,s. An enclosed fire place with supplied firewood ensures warmth and comfort during winter months. The king sized bed carries quality linen. Towels, tea towels and bathroom goodies are the same high standard. You may be assured of an enjoyable time of utter tranquility in this rural setting.
