Directions: From Christchurch Airport travel south on SHW1 to Hinds township then turn off follow the signs to Peel Forest, approx 90 mins from Christchurch Airport. From Geraldine travel North on Hway 72 turn off at Peel Forest. Approximately 9kms off Hway72

About Peel Forest Lodge

Peel Forest Lodge is a Handcrafted Log Holiday Home set in the Peel Forest Scenic Reserve, on the South bank of the Rangitata River. The only noise you will hear is wildlife, you will be awoken to a chorus of birds. With three bedrooms in the main part of the Lodge, one with ensuited the other two share a bathroom. A fourth room is located just across from the Lodge and has a Queen and two King Single beds with bathroom. All facilities are available to guests including free wifi, satilite TV, open fire, laundry, outdoor hot tub and BBQ along with catering on request. Great secure outdoor area for children to enjoy while adults sit back and enjoy the beauty of the Forest. The Peel Forest area has a lot to offer, walking tracks, horse trekking, white water rafting, hunting and fishing safaris as well as a bar and cafe. From Peel Forest you can visit Geraldine a great rural town with a very upbeat vibe or go a little further to Timaru, a small city on the Pacific Ocean. One hours drive to several ski fields and lakes. A great area to explore.
