About Gully Retreat Karapiro

John and Kay welcome you to share their beautiful home filled with antiques and original artworks. Their Cavalier King Charles spaniels invite all guests to Gully Retreat Karapiro & make them feel at home. Enjoy a stroll through their native bush, which is home to many native birds; fantails, tuis, moreporks, kingfishers & amazingly even kiwis. Guest accommodation is spacious and includes a queen room with ensuite, and 2 double rooms with amazing guest share bathroom. Breakfast is homemade museli & other cereals with fresh seasonal fruit. Toppings for your toast are homemade or sourced from the local farmers market. Dinner is available by arrangment @ $30.00 per person. There are many excellent restaurants & cafes in Cambridge. Just ten minutes south of Cambridge, Gully Retreat is situated close to many local destinations. Boatshed Kayaks Glow Worm tours is just down the road. The Karapiro Domain ((NZs renown rowing, kayaking & Boating venue) is only 5 minutes away. The Red Barn wedding venue is just around the corner & Hobbiton Movie Set is also not far.
