About Alba Cottage

If you want a quiet and rural stay, we're your kind of place.
If you want a Casino and nightlife, sorry we can't help.

You'll be staying on our lifestyle block where we grow our own veggies and produce our own meat. We also roast our own coffee which we sell in Cambridge 6 days a week. You'll pretty much have to like animals as well, as we have heaps. Apart from the dogs and the cat, there are the pigs who enjoy having their tummy's scratched and the chooks who are busy each morning laying eggs. The miniature Highland cow and a small flock of friendly sheep complete the rural picture.

Alba Cottage is self contained with a well-equipped kitchen, toilet and shower and one large bedroom/living area with a double bed. Freshly roasted coffee, tea and milk are provided along with eggs for breakfast when the girls are laying well. Outside, you have your own private deck on which to sit and relax in the sun. After, you can jump into either our family swimming pool or have a private freshwater hot tub (with a bit of notice for us to get it filled and the wood burner lit)

Enjoy the peace and quiet of the Waikato countryside but we can’t guarantee you won’t be woken by the chooks in the morning.
