About Blue Mountain Lodge & Cottages

Blue Mountain Lodge and Cottages are ideally located on the Southern Scenic Route just 5 minutes south of Te Anau. Our Cottages are warm, modern and have amazing views over our farmland and surrounding mountains. The children left home so we redecorated and sold their bedrooms and turned our home into a Lodge. We have four guest bedrooms and two bathrooms, but take bookings accordingly to ensure our guests do not share a bathroom with strangers. We have extensive flower gardens to enjoy, a seasonal vegetable garden to share, fresh farm eggs, and a hill to climb for amazing views of our region. There is a brand new cycle/running trail right outside our gate which links Te Anau with Manapouri, meandering along the banks of the magnificent Waiau River and through beech forest. We have cycles for hire. We strive to be as self sufficient as possible, producing our own lamb, beef, pork, venison, vegetables and eggs. Dean is a Professional Fly Fishing Guide with 30 years experience and Fiona has been in the Hospitality industry all her working life. We have a beautiful property we would love to share with you.
