Experience a warm welcome and a refreshing drink when you arrive at our centrally located 100yr old villa with light airy decor and comfortable modern furnishings.

We have three tastefully decorated guest bedrooms, 1 queen and 1 super-king/twin with ensuite and 1 twin room with a shared bathroom. All our rooms have comfortable beds with Eqyptian cotton linen and feather down blankets.

Four Restaurants are within a 15minute easy walk and the Town Centre and Basin are a 3 minute drive. Beautiful bush walking tracks are on our doorstep. Just 3 minutes from Whangarei Falls, 20 minutes from Tutukaka with diving to The Poor Knights and 30 minutes from the beautiful Whangarei Heads Beach.

Make Chelsea House your base to explore the north. Whangarei is close to the Bay of Islands, just 1 hour away. You can do day trips to the famous Kauri Forest and swimming with the Dolphins at the Bay of Islands.
