Turn off SH 2 in the Pikowai cliffs region, and follow the sealed country road for 3/4 km to find our lovely home, and award-winning garden.

There are great views from the upstairs, 2-bedroom (queen and twin) Bed & Breakfast suite, and it’s all yours! It is separated from the main house by a covered carport where you can park your car. You will enjoy fresh, home grown food for breakfast in our home with us, including home made muesli and preserves and seasonal delights like avocado and tomatoes from the garden.
Our very large country garden is the perfect place to relax, picnic, read or enjoy the native bird life, the lake, play petanque, or take a spa. It's the source of fresh fruit for your breakfast, and many other fascinating things. (Have you seen or tasted Cherimoya?) Over 200 roses in colour-coordinated beds flourish in the wonderful Bay of Plenty climate which boasts the sunniest city in New Zealand - Whakatane.
You can walk along the unspoilt beach, up the no-exit country road or climb the wonderful hills. There is fruit on the trees for you to pick, and a pig to feed. It's a very central spot for trips to Tauranga, Rotorua (1 hour) and White Island via Whakatane (25 mins) and the East Cape.
In your peaceful rooms you will find TV and DVD, plus free WiFi. You can get a prepare a light meal in the small kitchenette where all dishes and cutlery are housed, plus a microwave and frypan. We only let the suite to one party at-a-time.
