We are just a short drive to the beautiful Mount Maunganui beach which has to be New Zealand's premier beach and waterfront cafe scene. THE ORCHARD is a 4.5 acre avocado orchard with a stunning wedding venue centered around a beautiful octagonal court side pavilion, specializing in daytime garden party weddings, enjoyed with a drink in your hand and lots of yummy food, which you supply, in a beautiful outdoor setting. Cost of venue and every thing that comes with it for the 2011/12 summer wedding season is $800. This includes access the day before for setting up and the day after to picking up. Room for unlimited guests. A bar plus several wine barrel bar tables under umbrellas. A 3x6mtr white gazebo over a white table clothed food table and complete off road parking.

We also have a lovely private double bedroom guest accommodation which can serve as a preparation area for the bride and attendants or a bridal suit on the wedding night or as accommodation for out of town guests at $100 per night.
