Minarapa Lodge

Wind your way along a wonderful tree - lined drive into rural tranquillity. Minarapa, our 11-acre country retreat is just 12 minutes drive north of Taupo, 45 minutes from Rotorua and within easy reach of golf courses and major tourist attractions including Huka Falls, Wairakei Terraces, Orakei Korako and other thermal areas. We are 1 3/4 hours' drive from both Waitomo and the caves and Taongariro National Park.

Minarapa offers space and character aplenty. Downstairs relax in the large guest lounge/billiard room with TV and refrigerator. Upstairs retire to one of the guestrooms - spacious, light, appointed with a view to your comfort, each with individual style. Two rooms have ensuite bathroom, balcony, TV and all have tea/coffee facilities. One wing of the house with its two bedrooms and large interconnecting bathroom can accommodate up to four guests travelling together.

The rooms overlook our park-like grounds where you may wander among colourful tree-sheltered gardens, cross the pond and stream to view our farm animals or simply sit and enjoy the birdsong.

Enjoy a generous breakfast, either continental with home baking or cooked breakfast.
