Kauri Point Homestay

Stay with us at Kauri Point and be looked after from the moment you arrive. We are a small boutiqu homestay with only 3 luxury suites. Each have ensuite facilites and open onto expansive decks. Each room has either superking-size or twin single beds and is individually furnished to a high standard.

On arrival you will be greeted with afternoon tea & home baking. Join your hosts Gail & Robert and other guests on the deck in the evening for a wine or beer, some nibbles and great conversation!

In the morning join our other guests around the dining table for your breakfast before venturing out for the day. If you feel like just relaxing at KP thats is fine, consider it your "home away from home".

There is so much to do in and around Taupo. Relax and unpack your bags for a few days, you will be glad you did - go fishing, walking, skiing, cycling, shopping, visit thermal wonderlands......the list is endless and not just for the very active! A short drive will take you to Napier or Rotorua or to the Tongariro National Park and the crossing. Waitomo caves are about 2 hours away. Sorry we do not accept children. We do have pets, Arnie the English Springer Spaniel and Tiggle the cat.
