Breathtaking views and picturesque scenery with a chance to experience farm life at a renovated farmhouse on our 350 cow dairy farm only 25 minutes south of Rotorua.

Fully self-contained house that sleeps 8, you just need to bring your food. Two bedrooms have queen size beds, one bedroom has 2 single beds and then an office off the lounge has a single bed, no door. Tuck Inn has a separate shower and then a shower over the bath in bathroom. Separate toilet. Linen is provided. No pets, smoking outside only.

Experience farm life watching the cows get milked or use farm map to stroll over the farm. Take a walk up Beckman Hill, the panoramic view really is quite amazing. In springtime, watch or help feed the calves, maybe even see a cow calve. Give Cain, the hard working farm dog lots of attention. Take a short ride in the tractor cab feeding out silage or maize to the cows on the feed pad. Feed the pigs and hand feed the chickens.

Visit Macartney farm next door and try hand milking a goat! feed a lamb or kid goat (dependent on time of year) See their hand raised sheep, kunekune pig, peacock, rabbit & chickens.
