More than a bed and breakfast, Country Villa is an experience of elegance and tranquillity. Situated in a quiet rural setting with amazing views yet only 12 minutes from Rotorua. Country Villa was originally built in Auckland in 1906 and ninety years later was relocated to this idyllic site just outside Rotorua. Surrounded by large gardens with many native birds and enjoying superb views over the Lake, a stay here will give you a restful haven after busy days seeing the sights of Rotorua and its surrounds.

The Rose Room, Verdi Room & Country Corner Room are our three well appointed Queen size double rooms. All have ensuite bathrooms (Own Bath/Shower & Toilet). One is especially suitable for the elderly or disabled. (Wheelchair Access).

In addition, upstairs we have a 2 bedroom suite with private bath/toilet facilities, consisting of 1 queen/single and one twin room. This suite is available for families or other “single party” bookings who will not mind sharing the bathroom.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast. Fresh seasonal fruitsalad with Anneke's homemade muesli and yoghert. Try John's freshly baked bread. Also a choice of homemade jams and each morning a "surprise" hot dish of the day. Fresh coffee and a great selection of teas available.
