Burr-wood Countrystay

Burr-wood is set in a 2 1/2 acre garden that has recently featured in New Zealand’s premier gardening magazine. We are surrounded by native bush and birds. From our elevated position, we overlook a panorama of land, sea, harbour and islands. Enjoy our peaceful, romantic and colourful garden which we open to the public[by appointment]. Breakfast includes homemade bread and jams on the veranda or in the dining area.Home produce is used where possible. Dinner is available by arrangement with complimentary pre-dinner drinks.

We are 5mins off the main highway and just 9kms from Katikati, within easy reach of Tauranga and the Bay of Plenty attractions. Especially handy to local golf course. You are also welcome to see how we make our unique N.Z Native Timber jewellery in our home studio.

We can accommodate up to 4 guests but only accept one party at a time. Home baking, tea/coffee on arrival. Bathrobes, tea/coffee in rooms. Laundry and internet for emails available. Sorry, but our property is not suitable for small children.
