High on the Takaka Hill, amidst ancient marble outcrops you can feel removed from everyday life, but not remote. Enjoy magnificent views across Tasman Bay to the mountains. Close by are Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Park, two nature tourism areas where tramping and kayaking are popular outdoor activities.
We are friendly and welcoming New Zealanders and have been hosting for many years. With our local knowledge we can help you our guests find the most enjoyable and appropriate activities to enhance your stay. Interact with the animals or go for a walk through native bush on developing walking tracks. Our farm and garden are operated organically and provide most of the food served to guests.

A non-smoking guest suite with queen and twin bedrooms, bathroom and lounge is in a separate part of the house so you can choose your own level of interaction or privacy. This area is tastefully decorated and comfortable and has tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, TV and views over farmland, native bush, the sea and mountains. The suite is let as a whole to one person, couple or group, so you will not need to share with strangers. Dinner is available by prior arrangement and a breakfast of your choice is provided in the morning.
