Hokianga Haven’s private Accommodation Studio is modern, spacious and extremely comfortable with easy access accross the lawn directly onto the long stretch of beach overlooking the harbour waters to the fascinating sand dunes.

HOKIANGA HAVEN is nestled on the Omapere beachfront opposite the historical Hokianga Harbour entrance with the magnificent North Head ‘duneland‘ featuring large in the view. This spectacular harbour provided welcome shelter for the earliest Maori navigators and colonial adventurers.

Hokianga Haven is within leisurely walking distance, by beach or road, to shops, restaurants, bars, crafts, takeaways, wharves and the picturesque South Head of Hokianga Harbour.

Other recreational activities include glorious bush walks, safe swimming, wild sandboarding, fishing, horse riding or trekking, harbour cruises, visiting local artists, classes for flax weaving, museum and historical sites.
