Tangowahine Farm

Tangowahine Farm is a working sheep and beef farm which provides two self contained cottages bothover looking ponds, gardens, farmland and a rural outlook to the majestic Tutamoe Mountain, highest peak in Northland to the west and the Mangakahia range to the east. Accomodation is equipped with indoor/outdoor furniture and ranch sliders on to decks with all day sun. Very peaceful with friendly birds and animals not far away.
Tangowahine is very central for all of Northland and an ideal base from which to explore the district from Pouto Point (entrance of the Kaipara Harbour and the Ships Graveyard) to the Kai Iwi Lakes pristine clear water, trout fishing and kayaking or to the Bay of Islands. Walks on the farm, guided 4WD trips, kauri forests, wildlife, farm animals, fishing, hunting just ask.
