Taranaki/Mt. Egmont rises 2500m (8260ft) from the sea and offers dramatic opportunities for the hiker, climber, skier and photographer in summer and winter.
The base of the mountain is clothed in extensive rain forest with tracks taking from just minutes to several days to complete. Adventure Dynamics can take you there and share the special spots.
Rivers coming from the mountain offer kayaking opportunities from lake tours, shooting dam spillways to negotiating grade 4 rapids. Location: Taranaki, Egmont National Park and Tongariro National Park

Mountain Guides Mt Egmont  Description: All mountain sports on a year round all season basis. Based on Mt Taranaki/Mt Egmont, a 2518m volcano only 30 minutes drive from the city of New Plymouth and the Tasman Sea.
Summit climbs of all difficulty, rock climbing, snow and ice climbing, trekking and ski touring. One day or multi day adventures, individual or group, quality accomodation and food arrangements to your requirements.
